Albert Daniel Goodman, Jr. ("Dan"/"Danny"), age 58, died Friday, March 10, 2017, at his home in Trussville, Alabama. Born March 17, 1958 in Virginia to Al and Shirley (Patton) Goodman he grew up in Fayetteville, Tennessee. He played football in high school and was a well-respected teammate. He worked in radio as a rock-n-roll disc jockey. He served in the Air Force as a communications system equipment specialist. Albert Daniel Goodman, Jr. ("Dan"/"Danny"), age 58, died Friday, March 10, 2017, at his home in Trussville, Alabama. Born March 17, 1958 in Virginia to Al and Shirley (Patton) Goodman he grew up in Fayetteville, Tennessee. He played football in high school and was a well-respected teammate. He worked in radio as a rock-n-roll disc jockey. He served in the Air Force as a communications system equipment specialist. These skills, his love for music and radio led to his long career as a radio broadcast engineer working at radio stations in Tennessee and Alabama. He was a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. He traveled many places. He was a dynamic story teller. He loved cooking for his family. He was extremely intelligent, thoughtful and kind. He was an avid University of Tennessee fan, a fan of Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos, Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Christi Goodman (Sharpe); daughter, Danielle Goodman and companion, Michael Lowery, of Woodbury, Tennessee; brother, William ("Tete") Goodman and wife, Sandie, of Tullahoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kelton, Kyleigh, Dakota, Asa, Mikie and Lou, all of Woodbury, Tennessee; step children Christian and Juliet of Trussville, Alabama; sister-in-law, Connie Boutwell; nephew Brady Goodman and wife, Emily of Christiana, Tennessee; great nephew, Fischer; great niece, Penelope; uncle, Dr. Robert Patton and wife Bette of Kingsport, Tennessee; aunt, Jo Ann Patton of Abingdon, Virginia; aunt, Ida Patton of Abingdon, Virginia; cousin, Robin Hagan of Round Hill, Virginia; cousin, Sarah Hartman and husband, Steve of Ocean View, Delaware; cousin, David Patton of Birmingham, Alabama; cousin, Will Patton and wife, Debbie; cousin, Paula Via and husband, Anthony of Port St. Lucie, Florida; cousin Annette R. Van Etten of Bradenton, Florida; friends Dixon ("DJ") Allen, Steve Parks, Zane Smith and so many other loving relatives, friends and co-workers.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
