WHEATLEY, REV. AARON DEWEY, age 83 of Pinson, Aaron Wheatley was born into a Christian loving home on January 30, 1934. His parents, The Reverends Masa and Margaret Wheatley chartered Independent Pentecostal Holiness Church of Jefferson Park in 1950 and Bro. Wheatley dedicated his life to Christ and the church, which he pastored until the day he died. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert and Bobby Wheatley; and sisters, Doris Wheatley, Lucille Bowlin, Syble King, Miriam King and Betty Wheatley. WHEATLEY, REV. AARON DEWEY, age 83 of Pinson, Aaron Wheatley was born into a Christian loving home on January 30, 1934. His parents, The Reverends Masa and Margaret Wheatley chartered Independent Pentecostal Holiness Church of Jefferson Park in 1950 and Bro. Wheatley dedicated his life to Christ and the church, which he pastored until the day he died. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert and Bobby Wheatley; and sisters, Doris Wheatley, Lucille Bowlin, Syble King, Miriam King and Betty Wheatley. He was equally dedicated to his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Wheatley; his grateful sons, Michael Wheatley (Gina) and Jonathan Wheatley; his caring daughters, Debra Wheatley and Becky Sanders (Tom); his committed grandchildren, Nathan Wheatley and Marybeth Hollingsworth (Jake); his loving brother, James Wheatley (Burdine); several nieces and nephews; and a host of caring church family. A celebration of Bro. Aaron's life will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 accepting friends from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with service beginning at 7 PM. Burial will be at the family cemetery of Sulphur Springs in Trussville on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11 AM.
